Thankfully South Central Windward only has 10 programmes also to be funded by CBI.
In the previous election cycles, the NDP claimed it had several investors who were already lined up to help the country advance into the 21st century and to fund several development projects. Where are these investors today? Now, everything is CBI.
Kay Bacchus said that our beautiful beaches especially in the Grenadines will attract persons under the CBI programme which will differentiate us from other countries also engaged in the program. It is the same people who criticise the government for ‘selling out’ the Grenadines to fund the construction of the international airport.
But laughable to think anyone who is willing to buy our passport is coming for sun, sea and sand when they can already afford to travel here just for that. The passport is a vehicle not to enjoy SVG but to speed through borders in other countries to carry out both legal and illegal activities in our name.
