CARICOM has been invited by the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to field a team to observe the November 5th general elections here.
So far, representatives of Trinidad and Tobago have been specially selected to be part of the CARICOM Elections Observation Mission.
In a media release yesterday, the Government of Trinidad and Tobago said it has selected a two (2) member team to travel to St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The team includes:
- Major General (Retired), Edmund Dillon
- Former Chief Elections Officer of the Elections and Boundaries Commission, Mr Ramesh Nanan.
The release noted that all costs related to the team’s work will be covered by CARICOM. They are expected in country between the period October 29th – November 7th, 2020.
