VIRGIN ATLANTIC ACCEPTS GOVERNMENT OFFER

The government has scored another major victory in its quest to expand the range of direct flights from main source countries to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Representatives of Virgin Atlantic announced on Tuesday 3rd November 2020 that they will begin service to St Vincent and the Grenadines in June, 2021.

The announcement was made at a press conference this morning by the Ministry of Tourism at the Argyle International Airport Conference Room in Argyle.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Sir Louis Straker told the airline executives that they have lighted up the spirits of Vincentians. He said it is a new beginning for St. Vincent and the Grenadines and trust that it will be lasting and fruitful relationship.

“It is a is a joy to have virgin Atlantic coming here at long last,” he said.

The service which will begin in June 2021 will see two flights from London Heathrow to Argyle International using their Airbus 330.
