NDP activist Luzette King has challenged Dr Godwin Friday to reject any attempts at reconciliation to move the country forward.
President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Christian Council Reverend Adolf Davis following the general election said that “church Leaders can play an important role in the move towards healing and reconciliation.”
Reverend Davis said Church Leaders can intervene to facilitate reconciliation between opposing sides.
But Miss King has some stern words for the man of the clergy saying:
“While the popular majority await the installation of the duly elected New Democratic Party government, should Dr. Friday enter into any reconciliation talks with snakes like Revd. Adolphus Davis, Dermot Baptist of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, especially?!!!”
“Tell dem get thee hence and to hell, moreso!”
“I sincerely hope that Dr. Friday doesn’t betray us with this lot who, except for protesting gay people, said little that mattered to this unprecedented regime!!”
“The Unity Labour Party government is just for what snakes like Revd. Adolphus Davis of the Christian Council and Dermott Baptist of the Seventh Day Adventist Church prayed.. As a result, they have no legitimacy nor moral authority to attempt any reconciliation between their Massa and what he sees as his slaves!!”
Ms King has told Dr Friday that the offer of reconciliation is allegedly a trap by the two pastors who are securing their own secular gains which he should reject as he is the moral leader of the country.
