The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force have launched a manhunt for Mr. Veron Primus and Mr. Ulric Hanson who were inmates at Her Majesty’s Prison and have escaped lawful custody.
Commissioner of Police Colin John made the announce on Radio this morning.
Primus was serving a sentence for escaping lawful custody and awaiting a trial for murder. This is the second time Primus has escaped custody.
Primus escaped from prison last year 1stOctober, 2019, on the said day he turned himself him accompanied by his lawyer.
Primus was on April 24th, 2016, charged with the murder of Real Estate Agent, Sharleen Greaves of Calliaqua.
Primus was also also accused of Kidnapping Mewenah Hadaway (ex-girlfriend) of Vermont for three months, before she was rescued. Hadaway alleges Primus held her captive in a house at Vermont.
Primus was deported to St. Vincent in June 2015, after completing state prison time in New York, for violating an “order of protection” secured by an ex-girlfriend.
Police are investigating the escape of Veron Primus.
