The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) wishes to advise the citizens of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to be extra vigilant with their personal safety and security. As we come to the end of 2020 and look forward to the dawn of 2021, Vincentians all over the country will be partaking in several activities of varying kinds to usher in the new year.
Accordingly, all persons/promoters who have received permission to play amplified music must comply with ALL of the protocols relating to the prevention/containment of the spread of the COVID -19 virus; including the “Recommendations for the Managed Conduct of Mass Gatherings with or without Amplified Music” issued by the Health Services Subcommittee of the National Emergency Committee/COVID 19 Task Force; Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment.
You are to ensure that the following are in place: –
- A log book to record the names and telephone numbers of persons attending the event(s). This information must be securely stored by the organizer for a period of 28 days to aid the Ministry of Health Wellness and the Environment to trace persons who would have attended the event if necessary.
- Have a designated sanitizing area for hand-sanitizing and temperature checks
- Provide facemasks/coverings to patrons
The reviewed protocols are extended to January 31st, 2021.
