VIDEO: OMNIBUSES CONTINUES STRIKE IN SVG AGAINST NEW COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

A minibus driver from the windward side of St Vincent and the Grenadines continues their strike this morning as part of their protest against the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment NEW COVID-19 protocols here in SVG

Under the new COVID-19 Protocol here in SVG, passengers Van are allowed to carry a maximum of 7 and 9 passengers.

This measure is to help lessen the spread of COVID-19 after the Government recently declared ‘community spread’ of COVID-19 in SVG.

Just last week Van Drivers in Georgetown decided to withdraw their services on Friday 13th.

The drivers are protesting the new Covid-19 Regulations of 7 and 9 Passengers in a van to accommodate social distancing and to curb the spread of the virus
