New photos have been taken again of the new dome at La Soufriere volcano in St Vincent and the Grenadines but gusty conditions did not allow for drone footage this week.
NEMO posted pictures that were taken on February 20.
It says the team continued their work at the summit and managed to get a few photos. An update on dome volume will be given after a full drone flight.
Brief descriptions in the captions for the latest look of the dome say lateral growth of the dome continues, and as the magma interacts with the old dome, vegetation is being burnt.
It was also highlighted that magma continues to fill the available space and the dome is looking more elongated.
