ST VINCENT TO RECEIVE 40K COVID-19 VACCINE TOMORROW

The Government and People of St Vincent and the Grenadines will tomorrow receive 40,000 COVID-19 Vaccine.

The 40,000 doses of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines from the Indian Government will arrive here in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, tomorrow Sunday 28, February 2021 at 11:20 pm on a Regional Security System (RSS) aircraft from Saint Lucia.

The vaccines from India arrived in St Lucia on Friday 26th February, 2021, via a chartered flight and is to be distributed to member nations of the Organisation of the Eastern Caribbean States (OECS)

Prime Minister Dr. Hon. Ralph E. Gonsalves would be on hand at the Argyle International Airport to receive the medication.

The Prime Minister would be accompanied by the Minister of Health, Wellness and the Environment Hon. St Clair Prince, the Chief Medical Officer, Dr Simone Keizer-Beache and other officials from that Ministry along with staff from the Argyle International Airport.
