Vinsave has been the backbone of Early Childhood Training and Education in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Vinsave Early Childhood Training Programme will re-commence on Tuesday 9th March 2021. The programme, which has been offered by the Agency for over 40 years, will for the first time be offered virtually, due to the Covid ’19 Pandemic.
Twenty (20) persons, drawn from Childcare Centres throughout the state, are registered to participate in the year-long programme, which has both a theoretical and practical component.
Vinsave has made the necessary adjustments, brought on by Covid ’19, to accommodate the practical component of the programme.
The Course, made possible through financial support from the Skills for the Youth Employment Caribbean (SKYE) Project, will follow Levels 1 & 2 of the TVET Curriculum.
The Training Programme will give the student necessary skills and knowledge for working with the young child in the child development centres, and to be able to fill the need for trained Childcare Practitioners in private homes and other industries.
