Weak unstable conditions are dipping southwards across the island chain and occasional cloudy skies with light rain and pockets of moderate showers are likely across St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) tonight into Thursday.

A few showers could linger on Friday and early Saturday; while slightly hazy conditions are expected Friday night, with varying intensity across our area during Saturday.

Moderate to fresh (25 – 35 km/h) north-easterly trades are across our islands, becoming gentle (10 – 20 km/h) at times.

Swell heights are rising with occasional long-period waves from the north; ranging 1.2 to 1.8 m on western coasts and up to 2.5 m on eastern coasts of SVG which may cause life-threatening surf and dangerous rip currents…

Mariners; small-craft operators and sea-bathers should exercise extreme caution

Swell heights could start falling late Thursday, with swells near 1.0 m on western coasts and 1.8 m on eastern coasts by Friday.
