Two members of the X-Cel Track Club, Amal Glasgow and Rolando Andrews, have been enrolled at the Kingston College in Jamaica.
The two, who are former students of the St Vincent Grammar School, enter the sixth form of the institution.
Glasgow is one of this country’s upcoming 400m runners, while Andrews, who has had limited outings, is specializing in the Jumps, with the Triple Jump being the favoured event.
Delighted with the turn of events for the two, Head of the X- Cel Track Club and long-standing Physical Education teacher at the St. Vincent Grammar School- Rawlson Morgan, said that he wished them well.
“I hope they make full use of the opportunity presented to them”, Morgan projected.
Both Glasgow and Andrews in return expressed delight with the opportunity to train and school in Jamaica, and promised to give of their best in their academics and Track and Field.
Glasgow and Andrews join other members of the X-Cel Track Club who are residing in Jamaica.
Among them is multiple national and Under-20 record holder -Handal Roban, who is attending Jamaica College.
Also, there are Verrol Sam, who is at the Kingston College, while the pair of Mc Kish Compton and Javon Rawlins, who are at GC Foster College.
