After a shooting incident this morning in Diamond, one woman is dead and another is hospitalized.

According to reports, the two ladies were in the bedroom when an unknown assailant entered a window and opened fire on them.

The deceased was shot multiple times in the back, while the other victim was shot in the arm and back.

The identities of the women have not yet been released by the police. A police investigation is underway.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines has now recorded five murders so far for 2022.
