Custom Text

The Atlantic high-pressure system would allow for fair to occasionally cloudy skies within the next 24 hours accompanied by the possibility of brief intermittent showers.

On Saturday, unstable conditions could trigger some passing showers, while a few isolated pockets are anticipated during the early morning period on Sunday.

Moderate to fresh(25-35km/h) north east to east north easterly trades are crossing the islands and could gradually decrease(20-30km/h) on Friday and Saturday.

Wind speeds could further reduce (15-25km/h) at the beginning of the new week. Seas are moderate in open water, peaking near 1.5m on western coasts and up to 2.5 on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution for above normal sea swells and gusty winds.

Swell heights may gradually fall around late Saturday and become slight to moderate (1.2m to 2.0m) again. In addition, Saharan dust concentrations would continue to thin out across the islands within the next 24 hours, however, a slight increase is anticipated on Saturday.
