SVG 3-DAYS WEATHER OUTLOOK

A wake cloud has contributed to cloudy skies near to islands confined to the immediate south of mainland this afternoon. A few showers are also likely around nightfall.

The Atlantic high pressure should dominate the weather pattern over the next few days although a few patches of showers are anticipated on Thursday morning.

Moderate to fresh(25-35km/h) north easterly to east north easterly trades would cross the islands within the next 24 hours. Stronger(near 40km/h) wind speeds will return by late Wednesday night up to Friday.

Seas are currently slight to moderate in open water with swells peaking near 1.2 m on western coasts and up to 2.2m on eastern coasts. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution for above normal sea swells.

Swell heights could begin to rise early Thursday as strong winds agitate the ocean surface across our island chain. No significant dust haze intrusion is anticipated within this forecast period.
