An incident on the Vigie Highway has left one person dead.

According to information, the incident occurred at Fountain Stretch earlier this morning, Saturday 2nd April 2022.

Information indicates that the driver ran off the road after losing consciousness for a short time.

Persons helped him out of the vehicle, after which they did seek help from various passersby but were unsuccessful.

The victim has been identified as Orneicho Burke of Cane End
