On 8.04.22, police arrested and charged Raffique Prince, a 27 years old Security Guard of Rose Place with four (4) counts of Theft and one (1) count of possession of a Controlled Drug.
According to the investigations, the Accused man on four separate occasions allegedly stole several cell phones and accessories valued at $2950.00 ECC and $235. 00 USD from four different complainants.
The offences were committed between the 20.1.22 and 25.03.22 between Villa and the Leeward Bus Terminal.
He was also charged with having in his possession one thousand seven hundred and ten (1710) grammes of cannabis with intent to supply it to another.
The incident occurred at Rose Place on 8.4.22 at about 7:00 a.m. in Rose Place.
Prince appeared before the Serious Offences Court on 11.04.2022 and plead guilty to the charges. He was sentenced to nine (9) months at Her Majesty’s Prison for Possession of the Controlled Drug.
He was further bonded for one year in the sum of $1500.00 or six (6) imprisonment on each count of Theft. He was also ordered to compensate the virtual complainants by 2.05.2022.
