SVG ANNOUNCES NETBALL TEAM FOR WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS IN JAMAICA

The road to World Cup 2023 in Cape Town, South Africa continues and the path to the World Cup would be decided in the Americas Netball World Cup Qualifiers during the period 16th – 23rd October 2022 in Jamaica.

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Netball Association presents the squad that will represent the nation at the qualifiers.

The team comprise of the following:

  • Kimesha Antoine
  • Joseann Antoine
  • Kaywanna Charles
  • Shanice Daniel
  • Shellisa Davis
  • Nerissa Delpesche
  • Mary-Ann Frederick
  • Niya Miller – Debutant
  • Shania Pompey
  • Jo Maria Quashie
  • Dilonie Sam
  • Ruthann Williams

The management team consist of the following:

  • Joan Foster-Baynes – Manager
  • Godfrey Harry – Head Coach
  • Vasha Adams – Assistant Coach
  • Javed Marksman – Physio

The team will leave SVG on 12th October 2022 and return on 26th October 2022.

In other news, the SVG Netball Association would like to congratulate the SVG Male Netball Team on a successful execution of the Inaugural Americas Netball Men’s Netball Championship held 1st – 4th September 2022 at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex.

Congratulations also to Vincy Warriors for placing 2nd in this historic tournament.

The Association wishes Vincy Warriors continued success and pledges the Association support to ensure the growth and development of Netball in St. Vincent and the Grenadines for all genders.
