Approaching two years as the member of parliament for the Central Leeward constituency, Orando Brewster is confident that the people are getting the best of his youth.
Declaring that the ‘youngster’ is keeping in touch with his constituents, MP Brewster boasted, “any where I go in my constituency, the reception is wonderful and I want to keep my feet on the ground in my constituency. That is one of my hallmark of moving the constituency of Central Leeward [forward].
“I love and appreciate my constituents of Central Leeward. I love and appreciate them totally. The love and support, it’s there.”
Brewster appeared this morning on API’s morning program with host Shevrell McMillan.
Brewster who also heads the Ministry of National Mobilisation, Social Development, Local Government, Gender Affairs, Family Affairs, Housing and Informal Settlement spoke about the work he is doing at the constituency and ministerial level to help his constituents secure improved living and social conditions.
“I am a young man. I have a family, I have a wife, I have children but I still got to do my work…some times I may have to leave the country and they may not see me but they understand.”
“I asked the people to give me an opportunity to represent them and I am serious about this thing and I am going to represent them to the best of my ability,” said the young politician.
