NETBALL PRESIDENT’S NEW YEAR MESSAGE

As we have turned the new leaf and the new year has begun, we reflect on the accomplishments of our Senior Vincy Jewels and we left 2022 feeling proud that we have moved up the ladder in the World Netball Rankings.

However, there is so much more that needs to be done to ensure that we continue to climb the ladder which will secure us places at Commonwealth Games and World Youth Cup.

We must invest in the future of the game by developing the young talents in the country and creating opportunities for the advancement not just in the sport but holistically.

2023 we will see the National Netball Tournament in its full style and my Executive and I look forward to seeing clubs and teams participating and competing at high standards as capacity building opportunities were available in 2022 which will ensure, once applied, that we have an improved product.

We will also unveil our new logo which will depict the vibrancy and inclusivity of the sport.

We will defend our OECS International Netball Series Championship title and we also look forward to competing at the Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games in El Salvador in July.

I wish you and your families a prosperous, successful and exciting 2023
